I was like u when i started learning more about Islam. I was overwhelmed with thousands of Hadiths. I did what came to me easily - trust Quran. But there is no harm in being knowledgeable in hadith!

As I said before

Hadiths aren't necessary for muslims, if you feel like you need hadiths then good for you. But for me, Ifocus on the Quran, to form my own understanding of it.

I wouldn’t mind being born and raised in a Muslim country. The problem these days is that people confuse religion with culture/people’s behaviour. When (so called) muslims beat up women, blow themselves up, kill people that doesn’t mean that they do this because of our religion even when they say they do it in the name of Allaah.

Islam is perfect, people aren’t. Our religion is perfected by our Creator and there is NO WAY we as humans are able to say that there are faults in Islam. Subxanallaah, we follow our own desires/thoughts/nafs too much. We think we know better, while we don’t. Arrogance is such a dangerous characteristic.

Men and women are equal, but not the same. They both have the same basic rights, but differ in some rights and obligations based on their gender/obligations towards each other. I don’t see what the problem is.

It is new, and the minorities of non-believers, LGBTQ people have existed always and now no longer fear being stoned by people with your mind-set for one simpel reason.

I'm no scholar but from what I understand a women's testimony is less believable than a man's not because of any deficiency but because of her natural disposition that prevents her from being involved in these matters and a woman is more inclined to be focused on the household affairs/motherhood. That's why there are two women for one man in a witness stand, if one of them forgets the other can remind her. It's also to distance her away from any crime sites and it's not uncommon to see women fleeing from a crime scene so she may not always give a reliable account of a crime.

The man initiates divorce because he's the backbone of the family. He builds up the family and is required to pay for everything. He has a lot more to lose as he has to pay the full mehr and for child support, so he would be less hasty to ask for a divorce. A woman can still ask for divorce from the husband if she has sound reason.

In these cases it takes a women's nature into account, as women are more compassionate then men, while still a positive trait it isn't necessarily needed in matters of leadership and command. Women are not deficient in intelligence? That's not what the hadiths that you uncritically believe in say. They say women are "deficient in intelligence and religion" and will comprise most of the people in hell:
