Yea I remember my first pledge of allegiance, I was 6yrs old and a FOB, I was confused shocked, and scared, it was a big day for me. It was in kindergarten when they pledged me in without my permission.
My teacher "Mrs. Goldberg " blew a whistle and every 6 yr olds in the classroom stopped what they were doing and faced the flag with there hand over their heart. Mind you I spoke/understood no English and was confused, I was sitting down and Mrs. Goldberg called me to the line, I didn't understand her and continued to sit-down, all the kids were staring at me with an awe on there face (how dare u type of look)
Next thing Mrs. Goldberg did was grab my little arm and yanked my little ass on the line with them other kids to pledge for the allegiance with them other kids, then she took my hand and placed it over my heart, I started moving my lips and act like I was pledging like when ur in the masjid with a quran on ur lap and pretend to read Arabic but u don't.
After the pledge was over she blew the whistle again and EVERY 6yr old went back to there little desk (she called it the space station), anyway it was a scary moment for a 6yr old FOB
