If the UN builds decent looking houses for IDPs in Puntland, surely they can do this for these people? I think the houses they built for those IDPs also include good sanitation facilities and the neighborhoods have a police station and also education facilities.

SL should lobby the UN/NGOs. They have the funding, they can also provide basic training to help people find jobs. So you end up with normal looking neighbourhoods with somewhat skilled people. This way they will not be a burden on the state.

Walahi, no trolling. I've been to Hargeisa and noticed the abject poverty. You'll see huts all over the city, including in the famous street with the Dahabshiil building. You'll see men with buttonless shirts with holes in it. Abject poverty and incredible inequality in wealth. The people living good are people that have family in the diaspora and receive remittance. If you don't have diaspora family that can send you money you're done no matter how laandheer you are. Those folks are probably HA or HY
