The lack of human capacity is the main obstacle to Somali Growth. Djibouti, arguably the most developed Somali region, has a poverty rate of 72 percent.

Instead of focusing on developing their respective regions through cooperative market tactics etc, they insist on petty wars and rampant corruption.

Somaliland , if they truly focused on growth and dampened nascent corruption could easily be an African powerhouse. After all , developing mines etc do not need recognition.
