Never understood going to Somalia just to hang with other diaspora, mix with the locals, level up your language skills.
Clearly you’ve never went, the locals arent trying to be friends they will finesse you till youre broke. At least with diaspora you can split.

Hey imagine if all the diaspora from US, UK, Australia, Scandinavia etc all linked up in Somalia (Mogadishu, Hargeisa etc...) once this pandemics over or even during it because I'm this close to booking a flight to Somalia instead of spending years in my man cave reading forums tbh I can actually see the vision I've actually had enough after seeing this vlog from Nadbash I think he's Ogadeni or Marehan - Somalia's travel & tourism should really start thinking about thinking about the next step to attract Somali visitors Xamar looks amazing

You've probably seen this vlog suggested to you by youtube but I was watching it in the living room from Seattle with my whole family - this nadbash guy is is a true Landeere he went to kismaayo, Mogadishu jigjiga, dhagaxbuur by himself from London also love the fact he barely showed Dubai in the vlog just shows he has his priority in place true Wadani plus all in one vlog during a pandemic lmao got pretty nice views from it really made me homesick even though I've never been to Somalia but that vlog really made me want to go I thought he was going there for dhaqan celis but from this vlog seems like it was actual holiday compared other peoples expirence. really appreciated tbh majority of the vlogs from Somalia the YouTuber spends most of the video in an airport but this guy really nailed the vlog even filmed with his iphone. Respect 👏

I believe he's a Lander. I remember a video of his from a while back about Somalilander accents or something.

I'm going this summer to Muqdisho with my cousins and their family. I would've gone during winter break in December, but I ended up changing my mind last minute cause I wanted to spend more than 2 weeks over there.

In my 20 years, it's going to be the first time I'm going to the place my bloodline hails from and where my parents were exiled from, I'm trying to get the whole experience, (baadiyo, different cities, meet my elders, go camping, go fishing/swimming, etc). Innumerable activities, which will help connect me to my motherland.

I also have some other cousins who came from UK and Canada, respectively, and opened up a business in Xamar which I'm excited to check out, too.
