Most Somali Diaspora's (born in the diaspora) are dead/in the gutter

I am deeply sorry that you were born into a low IQ family and grew up with Low IQ hoodlums but I don't think its fair representation to generalize the whole Somali diaspora in the west as being utter failures and crime-ridden thugs/drug addicts because your family and friends had the combined IQ of about 56.

Thanks for the sympathies, I believe I’m probably around 70 iq, thus enabling me to survive my an existence.

Also in my heart those people weren’t my friends, I was just forced to be around them loool, they never knew the real me. I considered them ‘somali friends’

Do you think the 70,000 Americans who died of drug overdose in 2017 have low IQ? Smart people make the wrong choices many times and kids are specially impressionable. The environment in which they grow up affects them. Drugs and alcohol start as trying out something your friends are doing. Growing up in a non-supportive environment can make any person fail in life.

Fun fact , as a kid we were once homeless , poor as shit , surviving gang infested areas , crime, disturbing levels of racism and other deplorable things I’ll take to the grave.

I’ll recommend any Somali , Put and FORCE that evil negative hatred energy into goodness and being fair. Don’t ever think so and so did it to me I can do it too. That’s Satan talking.

Hell yeah i fucking made it , and I’m gonna celebrate.

It seems like westerner somalis are the ones who are not grateful for what they have , they live in safe havens
Governments are generous enough to provide them welfare, free housing, education
And privilege they can never have in dusty somalia
yet kids are fucking dying on the streets for the most ridiculous reasons , gang banging, being courier to madows, shanking people because of different postcodes
Their lifestyles revolves around pathetic surroundings due to stupidity they have brought their pathetic disintegrated ways of life to the west

I live in the fucking gutter, worst of the worst neighbourhoods, theres not a day where I think I could be a causalty
My ethnicity alone can attract hostility in some areas
im alive and kicking pursuing my dreams and goals in this shithole
What I learned so far is to be humble despite living here

All I see here these people are high on crack pipes talking outta their fuuto dhuxul
mumble jumble bullshit pathetic excuses within western somali diaspora

I tell you one thing whenever there are areas somalis heavily congregate expect poverty and dysfunction

Somalis isolated and living in remote are perhaps the best role model of diaspora due to assimilation and integration

drop the "we going back to dhulkeeni mantra" you wouldnt dare set a foot in that shithole

So why not stop ing and integrate well just like other foreigners

Well done for staying alive and making it in life up to this point. However never gloat over the lest fortunate and those that are no longer alive. Inevitably we will all die and end up as a footnote in history if not completely and utterly forgotten.

Pray for the less fortunate and maybe try to uplift them if you can. That is true achievement in my books.

Wow, you need to run from were ever your from. The somali guy/girls doing the worst that I've grownup with are drug addicts, in prison, havementally or physically problems and they are rare to see.

Someone who follows the Quran and looks to hadeeth for further guidance is a Muslim. In my humble opinion, I do not think that you're really in a position to tell me how to describe my own religious affiliation sxb.

Your shipping lane analogy still doesn't explain poverty in non-Muslim African nations next to busy lanes, and as mentioned by @Calaf above, how come the spillover effect from both South Korea and China have not helped North Korea?

Malaysia is richer than Singapore and has remained richer - spillover there is like saying Canadian spillover is the reason for America's economic success.

Umm, the United States is a much larger/sophisticated economy than Canada, so it's the other way around. And definitely, being right next to America has helped make Canada a much more prosperous country than it might otherwise have been. Ditto for Mexico, although to a lesser extent due to its corrupt political environment.

As for South Korea and North Korea, there is no comparison. North Korea has been and remains an almost completely closed off society run under a quasi-communist, cult-like ideology. There has been very little spillover because the Kim family believes economic openness may threaten their hold on power. (Richer citizens tend to call for more rights for themselves). Singapore and Malaysia, on the other hand, have always been open to economic links with the outside world. And it just so happens Singapore became a more attractive manufacturing hub, couldn't handle all the business, so it pushed away the less lucrative, less-high industries to Malaysia---which wasn't that bad, as they were still economically helpful industries that generated jobs and made Malaysia a better off society. These are basic facts of economic history. Might want to look things up before talking on issues you clearly have no familiarly with.

Not to sound haram , but Do the less fortunate pray for me ? Looool

I still pray for them , but I never thought in my life a stranger I’m not related toD would pray for my specific well being , from the goodness of their heart and shit. I’m not that fucking naive.

Most people I know my age have graduated from Uni (with a significant amount having completed masters) and have bright futures in engineering, healthcare, and business etc. No one talks about all the bright prospects we have in the diaspora but choose to focus on the few qashins that choose to butcher each other in ,may Allah forgive me for uttering this word, L*ndon and Toronto to name a few. :kodaksmiley:

The future looks bright for us with a large majority of us going up class levels and it will be interesting to see how many give something back to their motherland. The biggest issue I see occurring in the future is the link between Somalia and the diaspora disappearing entirely where the diaspora instead choose to adopt their home countries lifestyle and culture ,case in point being Asians in the UK especially Indians.

Thanks for reminding us we are not all failures. Of note is how all the negative individuals on this website are far from somali culture. It boggles the mind how these folks come from somali homes and have somali parents.

Almost everyone of them is a loser in life and projects their failures onto somalis. Their selfhate is beyond hopelessness.

I was lucky. My family came into good money after I turned 12/13, and we moved away from the ghetto area that we lived in. They could then afford to let me study medicine in Istanbul. The only difference between me and my friend is that I was lucky, and he was not.

How many years you got left g?
