SNM stormed Burao and Hargeisa in 1988 but then felt the full force of the army and ran back to their caves.
Not a single district was under SNM control when Siad Barre fled Mogadishu on 26th of January, 1991. It's all bs and chest beating hoax for their misinformed people.
The FGS controls 4 or 5 districts in Galmudug/Hirshabeelle plus Mogadishu and few other towns here and there, that would amount to less than 15% and the rest of the country is outside of its control.
Hassan has emphatically lost the plot.
In his press conference he admitted that hundreds and possibly thousands of Ethiopian troops have been deployed to the North and MOU between Ethiopia and Somaliland will be finalized soon in Hargeisa with Abiy leading the Ethiopian delegation.
He wept...
Both P.L.O and Hamas acknowledge the extreme importance of Palestinians staying put regardless of the extent of violence perpetuated by Israel on their civilians. They believe that ease comes after hardships.
Egypt reaffirmed their position several times that they won't accept any Palestinians...
Everyone knew this would happen, the south cannot possibly sustain themselves without AU and UN backed foreign peacekeeping forces. I would say it's an embarrassment to southern tribes specially Hawiye and Rahanweyn. How can you govern the country when you can't possibly govern your own...
I concur with your idea tbh! Badhan is also a gobol according to Puntland. Maybe it's time for rer Galdogob to get their fair share as well. It would be beneficial for the region and whole of Puntland.
Wow! Putin just spoke for two hours on Russian history, the war in Ukraine, and major geopolitical shifts. All unscripted. The man gives total attention to detail.
Plenty of uninformed Americans will benefit from this bombshell of an interview because the mainstream media filled them with...
I think people don't realise that majority of constitutional disagreements have been solved over the years but 7-8 topics still need a comprehensive agreement for the constitution to be completed. HSM brazenly wants to jump over those disagreements by stitching his own constitution disregarding...
IT IS AMAZING! Monster Level!!
A man who burned his PREGNANT wife is a sad incident, another tragedy is that she was raising orphan children from her previous marriage, and another surprise is that until now the security forces in Mogadishu have not caught the killer.
It is an act that shows...
People who suffer from ignorance on federation system of governance frequently utter remarks like "we don't need 8 presidents". Calling a regional head the term "president" is egregious and wrong to them, so they base their opinions about federalism solely on their dislike for the term "president".
If he's really serious about marriage then he has two options:
Call one of his female relatives to investigate the suspicion.
With her permission, he can investigate the suspicion for himself.
Talk about delusions of grandeur. 2k-3k dead soldiers, plenty more wounded, 400 captured, more than 200+ army vehicles lost, your entire army decimated and eviscerated and here you are talking about Ilhan Omar, a democratically elected congresswoman comfortably representing her constituency...
That's the right path young man. Plenty of people say this and then return back to their old habits, I hope you turn your words into productive and fruitful actions.
Maybe you magically fogot where this back and forth discussion initiated from. @galhareeri said ceelbuur was the only district in Galgadud at that time... And then you agreed claiming that El Bur controlled as far west as Abudwak and Gelinsor.. And my counter argument was that El Bur was a...
I wasn't arguing about that at all wow!!! El Bur obviously controlled El Dheere, Masagaway etc all urban and rural areas on eastern side of Galgadud at that time, But Dusamareb was also a district and did control the western section as well according to the Italians. That's my point.
First of all, I ain't from that region at all but your faltering argument is illogical. You're saying council members of Dusamareb district was just some men doing a job for italians etc... do you actually know what district councils do at all?! Each district had council members that represented...
I think your ignorance about the region comes out with each post. Did you actually say that Dir don't live in Galgadud?! Dir were represented in Dusa mareb council during that era and they currently have significant population in Galgadud specially Heraale, Huurshe etc.
You need to do proper...
Dude, do you suffer from comprehension difficulties?!! Your census picture mentions major Hawiye clans under El Bur district, the question is: if El Bur was the sole district in Galgadud how come Marehan and Dir weren't mentioned?!
I have posted a picture of El Bur and Dusa Mareb council...
