Garowe (HOL) - President Said Abdullahi Deni of Puntland Regional State has declared a high-level meeting in Garowe, convening representatives from both the federal government and regional governments to discuss the political situation in Somalia.

In remarks made on Tuesday evening, President Deni highlighted that Federal President Hassan Sheikh had accepted the invitation to participate in the forum. He expressed optimism that the discussions at the forum would yield constructive outcomes to address the country's challenges.

President Deni emphasized that the federal government is preparing the agenda for the upcoming meeting.

"The recent meeting held in Garowe, attended by the President of Somalia, leaders of regional governments, and former prime ministers, reached a consensus that the current challenges facing the country should be collectively addressed," he added.

President Deni, recently re-elected as the President of Puntland, downplayed tensions with the federal government. President Mohamud, former leaders of the country, and regional state leaders attended his inauguration ceremony to offer congratulations on his re-election.

We just see things different. The shabab offensive wasn't a failure in any shape or form and HSM response to Ethiopia has been exceptionial.

I'll have to look it up but I'm pretty sure KGS & HS elections are to happen this year. There is a long way to go eboow
