Why do Somalis care about palestine so much?

You can’t compare the situation of Somalis to what’s happening in Palestine. Their land is being taken from them forcefully, while Somalis are killing each other because of qabil.
I definitely believe in the Islamic brotherhood, when the famine was happening in Somalia the people who were helping out in terms of funds weren’t just Somalis, their were non Somali Muslim too. Also this isn’t a struggle olympics, we aren’t competing for who has it worst. We can be in a bad position yet still want to help out other people.

Listen, I don’t share my attention out equally to the rest of the muslim ummah. All my energy is towards somalia. Some of you somalis make fun of each other’s deaths and can’t seem to unite on anything but you seem to have all this mercy and sympathy for everybody else. Bila dhig.

Its a known Islamic principle that a Muslim must sympathize with the struggles of other muslims who are going through difficulties regardless of race especially of those muslims who are being persecuted. Even if the most we can offer is our dua,we shouldn't hesitate.

This doesnt make me 'less' concerned or unaware of the struggle my people face.

Unlike many keyboard pseudo patriots here who contribute nothing to the well being of Somalia other than their useless opinions and westernized ideologies,some of us have left the comfort of the west to actually make a difference in our country.

I support Palestine and I’m anti Israel. However, anywhere in Palestine is more developed than my Somalia, I’ll put all energy I have into somalia and Somalia alone. Palestinians aren’t fundraising or caring about Somalia.
That being said, Palestine is in the top 3 of places I want to visit. Hope the best for them, they have the rest of the Muslim ummah crying about their injustice and would be willing to die for them anyway.

The only basic solidarity with Palestine I’m willing to do is to never go to Israel, I just wanna visit the West Bank.
