Who is an alternative to Farmaajo?

I really dont care who sits in Villa Somalia as long as they adhere to the federal system and sharing of international aid equally. Put Dahir calasow there for all i care.

The problem with federalism is the presidents of states don’t respect their president. And think they are on the same level as the central government. Like when somalia caught emirates $10m to destabilise the country. Puntland and somaliland went into a port and military deal with them. Why would you want to even allow a wicked country like that in your state?. When somalia and Kenya are not on bad terms over the sea and interference with Jubaland, opposing state leaders meet in Nairobi. It seems like everyone that has issues with the country uses the states to still do their dirt in the country. It makes the country weak. We need a strong central government that controls the country or as federalism leaders of states to not be used or bought of by enemy of somalia.

Ali Haji is a good guy met him a few times i know him but he’s ardent federalist to the point where fms should act like separate countries
What do you mean by ardent federalist?!! The constitution is Federal remember, are you criticizing him for being pro Federalism?!!

They like to ignore this because it goes against their narrative.

This weak and loose federalism was constructed by neighboring nations that never wanted another strong Somali state to emerge. Like you said the old TPLF guard of Ethiopia wanted to have Federal regions loyal to them like SL and PL if any issues would come about with the Federal Government they would use these states to cause some instability within the country. The UAE has done this as well and was open in doing so.

Kenya has also used the illegitimate JL admin to try and undermine the FGS influence and strength in the south. Obviously for the Somali state to regain its strength this sort of behavior will not be acceptable going forward which is what we are working on to end as soon as possible.

So according to your biased opinion the Federal states should be under the mercy of FGS and patiently wait development projects from Xamar?!! Do you actually think the current FGS administration would hustle and bustle around the world to allocate major development projects for FMS?!!! No way!!! They'd rather see us perish from existence.

we don't have constitutional federalism yet
The Federal Constitution is still incomplete, once the constitution is complete it will lay down the framework demarcating fundamental political code, structure, procedures, powers, and duties of government institutions and it will set out fundamental rights and the duties of citizens.

The constitution needs to specify what areas of public life the national government will take control over and what areas of public life the state governments will take control over. Right now, the boundaries aren't clear which is why the completion of the constitution is fundamental in moving the country forward.

needs a good balance like the US, and a separate body like a supreme court to mediate between the two

This map shows Federal and unitary states around the world.

Hugely successful nations use the Federal system and they're more stable than Unitary States.

unitary limits you so much lol no potential, UK for example is all London, US has 50 plus major cities and a state richer than the whole UK, you can't put all your eggs in a unitary basket, no growth, ideally I want every tuulo to move forward and be better than the best we have now in ten years

That's the favourite argument for those who favor the cursed centralism and we have debunked it many times. Finalize the constitution, Its that simple. Immigration, Defense, foreign policy etc falls under the FGS. But of course we are not dealing with serious people who want to move the country forward. They rather concentrate on silly things like ballistic missile treaty while whine that the "State governments act like sovereign nations"

We are forced to act like sovereign nation. Adeer, adiga kasug farmaajo iyo kheyre development funds, we in PL see the reality and will continue to hustle for ourselves.

Seeking development projects would never be opposed by anyone that respects the sovereignty of Somalia. I believe whole somalia has to prosper. Would the state of New York ever make deals with Iran? No, the enemy of their country is also theirs. Even if it would benefit them. State of Punjab would never make a deal with Pakistan. They are all federal but would never do such things. There are over 190 countries in the world. If you chose to pick exactly the 2 we either cut ties with or are on bad terms than you are playing evil politics and should be dealt with. As it could never be a coincidence. But I totally understand your argument if you are solely after development and prosperity of your state and clan rather than the greater good for the country they are part of.

I can't think of a good alternative tbh. The opposition are all corrupt power hungry. I can only think of Kheyre & he'll most likely stay with Farmaajo for 2 terms and run for president then.

Yes. We're solely after development and the progression of our region. The FGS is weak politically, economically and Militarily. We can't possibly wait for them to attract investment to our regions, our sheer hustle is the thing that kept us on the path of development and economic growth for the past 22 years.

we can't talk that when the fgs itself is bought out, when the states do these meetings its at least In the states interests but the fgs is compromised and has done for turkey, Qatar, and Ethiopia things not in the interests of a sovereign state, also a state like newyork would be more focused on its success and not american success, just like newyork city is focused on its own success, when everyone in a country focuses on succeeding than the country is better off as a whole, the reason for states and representatives is to reflect the interests of those constituents for example and not the country, which is why its a good representative country, liberals in Seattle have there views heard as do red necks in Alabama

Saying we have debunked it many times is not a good argument. You said defends and foreign policy falls under FGS. Do you therefor agree that making deals with foreign nations is foreign policy. And that foreign military bases and/or trainings provided is defence policy? And therefor also falls under FGS. And until the constitution is finished it goes trough the provisional constitution and by the countries bicameral legislators. Or do you not recognise Somalias government, the parliament and the 2 houses and do as you like and not care until the constitution is final.

They were all including those who claim they were never colonised. Because that was Ethiopia until 1879 right at the start of colonialism

Abdullahi Yusuf would've shot him dead if he was an evil treacherous individual like you make him out to be. He took a major role in freeing SSDF commanders imprisoned by Al Ittixaad. In fact, he closely worked with AY post Al Ittixaad conflict and later moved to UAE to pursue his career in finance.
That's not true he never worked closely with AY!!

All former itihad were deported from PL many came back after faroole gave them amnesty and a deal never to join or work with terrorists and publicly call AS terrorists after that AS started assisinating them.
