Islamic schools aren’t banned in France. Are you on about secularisation of public schools? This applies to all religions and isn’t necessarily targeted towards Muslims. Separation of Church and State is a big part of French culture. It’s not fair to call assimilation “indoctrination”.

Forced assimilation by forcing public schools IS indoctrination. France targets Muslim in particular this is well known to all, they even pass laws against Muslims. I am not sure if the Islamic schools are banned but I am pretty sure home schooling is and if they havent banned islamic schools they are most likely under complete control by the state.

The sins are comparable as they are both major sins in Islam that have capital punishment. In fact, even murderers may be forgiven by the family in exchange for diya and that option is not available for those caught and judged for practicing homosexuality.
