Yes it's suffers from tribalism but to call it a clan state is an insult to all the people elected none - Isaaq Mps and councillors such as Barkhad Batuun who got the most amount of votes as MP despite being a "Midgaan".

The concept of Somaliland is based on 1960 borders, 50% of the population in said borders are non-isaaq and actually partook in the genocide.

When Somalia stablizes and they want to leave Somaliland, they should be able to but right now they arent really showing that they don't want to be apart of it. Their leaders and people celebrate May 18 every year

No they don't , its a minority who celeberate may 18. I am not totally against the restructuring of Somalia into its pre-1960 state but it would need the restructuring of what it means to be a "Somalilander".
Whether Somaliland becomes independent or Somalia reigns supreme depends on the inhabitants of both. Both states are disunified but the latter is also facing a terrorist insurgency which won't be going anywhere.
Personally i want a diaspora only state in Waqooyi.

You might be well meaning but reason for Somaaliland repealing the 1960 unification law is not because of Afweyne genocide that was supported by northern Jabartis.
Its about the South violating the spirit and letter of the unification law, from the Wanlaweyn election for of 1961 to CaliMahdi betraying the liberation struggle and covenant between SNM and Caydiid
Indeed CumarMaxmuud got massacred by Afweyne but that doesnt justify the secession of northern Mudug. Just like the Afweyne genocide is not the justification for Somaaliland repealing 1960 unification with Somaalia Itaaliaan
We can pretend Isaaq are minority it doesnt matter though. What matters is that SNM signed the 1991 separation with the defeated Afweyne fans
I agree mostly but I would not insult reer Muqdisho clan when you debate someone from another clan that lives in Qandala. The Muqdisho clan are the biggest victims of a system where power is distributed in 4.5 affirmative action formula that underrepresents Haawiye and Muqdisho region is the only place forced to share it's wealth with other regions, every tribe gets a say in what happens in Muqdisho but Muqdisho has no say in what happens in other regions
