Naivasha is beautiful, went there couple of times. I went as far as lodwar up north and saw issaq niggas married to turkana women.

That is true Mudane, I just mean they didn't forget their Isaaq roots clanwise. They made the famous British Isaaq association to fight against injustices like poll taxes and were very organized.

Meetings of the British Ishak Association were held on the 19th, 20th and 21st January 1938 at Eastleigh, Nairobi, about 100 persons attending on each occasion. On the 19th January, Ali Hashi, Habr Yunis was nominated for the secretaryship and Ali Sheikhdon, Habr Awal, for the post of Treasurer. The meeting for the 20th was to raise funds for those members of the Ishak section who had recently been released from Jail for failing to pay the Shs.20/ -Native Poll Tax. The community was paying Shs 30/- Asiatic Poll Tax which now the Colonial Government refused to receive from them. It was decided that members should contribute Shs10/- each for the purpose of compensating these members who had suffered financial loss through absence from their respective businesses.A sum of Shs.360/- was raised at the meeting and it was further decided to send members to various centres in Kenya and Uganda to collect funds for this particular purpose.
