Kkk chill with the insults. No shilling was not stopped by market forces. Kulaha it was stopped. It was being used. The problem was it's value depreciated because Deni printed more money. Even if Deni paid government salaries with dollars, he shouldn't have banned the shilling.

When Deni said everyone should use Dollar and banned the shilling, that immediately destroyed all savings people had in shilling as no one would change them for dollars. You don't seem to understand. Where will PL citizens bring Dollars from overnight? The price of everything is in dollars. How will a low-class citizen buy food. He has no dollars. Use simple logic, the policy was disastrous precisely because governments couldn't give people dollars in exchange for their inflated shilling.
