I've eaten raw meat for almost all my life and nothing has happened to me yet so I'll take my chances. Also, why would I go all the way to Dire to get flea infested beef when I can just get a nice and clean meat from a butchery in Addis??
And If I do happen to get worms, so what? It's worth the risk as I said...I can always take the special medicine for it.
As for the rice/curry not being Ethiopian food, I meant it wasn't due to some weird cultural cuisine. If you're referring to hygienic issues in Ethiopia in terms of food, then you probably just went to a bad spot. Even cadaans with weak immune systems eat TRADITIONAL Ethiopian food at Ethio places all the time and they rarely get sick.
