I don't get the point of somalis taking these tests. it's for americans who want to trace their ancestry.

Somalis are the biggest 23andme customers on average. I have about 100 relatives on it from 2nd to 5th (way too many Somalis with Arab dreams), including cousins I personally know who have an agenda. Somalis purchase a kit for one reason and one reason only.

I am of course an exception and did it for other reasons.
