This is terrible news. Deni must get set a roadmap for 1m1v at parliamentary and presidential level

Deni can simply follow the letter of the constitution, drop the bid to change the constitution, hold elections in the three remaining districts, and then declare the three parties with the most votes the only ones eligible to run in the upcoming parliamentary election.

Following the constitution to the letter would mean that Kaah, Mideeye and Sincad would be the only parties allowed to contest for parliament. Faroole & co know that Deni could go in this direction, so they are blocking him by using force to intimidate him away from completing the elections in the 3 remaining districts.

They know that the moment elections are completed in Nugaal, Deni will have the upper hand constitutionally and that nothing could stop him for asking TPEC to announce the three parties and a date for parliamentary elections.

Tbh I’m doing everyone a favour, this has become an election thread and just generally any conflicts/problematic situations happening. Like come on, I resisted the urge of making a ‘Garowe civil war’ thread.

Election year is why PL is interesting right now so this is all related really
