50/50 does not exist. Its just a way for men to not have to contribute much financially. All the work still lies with the woman. So basically, men get help with bills and woman are doing everything else. You wouldn't accept that in a business deal, so why would you accept that arrangement within a marriage? Which imo I believe should be approached using logic and facts, sorta like a business.
I'd wager 50/50 is how a good chunk of millennials live, especially those who DINK. All my co-workers that have been raised here live like that. Most are native locals, but even Westernized foreigners live like that. When you say 50/50, is it from respective income or a flat 50% contribution?
I'm curious whether you girls think a woman should contribute financially at all. If so, how much?
