If your ex and your first love got divorced and runs back to you?

50/50 does not exist. Its just a way for men to not have to contribute much financially. All the work still lies with the woman. So basically, men get help with bills and woman are doing everything else. You wouldn't accept that in a business deal, so why would you accept that arrangement within a marriage? Which imo I believe should be approached using logic and facts, sorta like a business.

I'd wager 50/50 is how a good chunk of millennials live, especially those who DINK. All my co-workers that have been raised here live like that. Most are native locals, but even Westernized foreigners live like that. When you say 50/50, is it from respective income or a flat 50% contribution?

I'm curious whether you girls think a woman should contribute financially at all. If so, how much?

Only time I think women should pay half if there is absolutely no choice. But apart from that I don't believe in 50/50, because its never 50/50 its really 80/20

If you can afford to provide, do it. If not its selfish.

What if you're both working with no children, and your husband earns 30-50% more? Would you contribute 50% of your earnings?

No, because I will still end up doing most of the housework. Doesn't mean I wouldn't contribute at all though.

50/50 is when everything is split in the middle. Relationships with men doesn't work out that way. Only in friendships.

You want us to be moderate, but old fashion when it only suits you. Having said that what women say in public and what they do ibntheir actually relationship is completely different. If a man is smart and is on his game he can make a women do pretty much anything. I will trust my game lol

I agree with your latter statement to an extent. I can truthfully say that I do not contribute equal labour to the household. At least in terms of cooking, cleaning and other menial tasks around the house. Similarly, I don't ask for 'her' money. That doesn't mean I do not have access to it.

I don't understand this arrangement. If I get almost all of the rent, utility bills, waste collection etc. What happens to her income? Seems like a terrible and unrealistic arrangement.

What should I do? I have already moved on and got married and now my ex wants me to marry her after being divorced. She wants me to make her second wife? What should I do?
Have u discuss about this to your wife? Is she okay for u to have 2nd wife?

Its actually the other way around. Men love tradition ONLY when it suits them.

You want a woman to cook and clean, yet you don't want to provide. So Jaydaan between the two us who is picking and choosing?

Every woman i met live coocking and cleaning for her man. Its natural halima. You telling me when you make a nice meal for hubby and he appreciate it you feel great? Men and women are made differently

Every man I met loves providing. Men providing is the norm and part of our religion.

I like looking after my husband as he appreciates me and in turn looks after me. A natural relationship is give and take.

I would start to resent looking after a man who didn't look after me and i'm sure my husband would hate providing for me if i wasn't appreciative and wasn't nurturing.

Jaydaan that is some manipulative shit btw. Women do not like cooking and cleaning for a man that doesn't look after them. Never happened in the past. Men provided. And a man who couldn't didn't get a girl. There is nothing 'natural' about the arrangement you want.

I don't think you get what @HalimaJ is trying to tell you.

Anyways. You guys seem so insecure as if your goal is just to "dominate" a woman. I don't understand why some somali men brag about #abdiexit. We should be the one doing a halimoexit and pronto. Y'all are crazy.

Don't be fooled sweety, he most definitely understands. He just wants to hoodwink a dumb Xalimo to cook, clean, raise his kids and pay rent.

I'm married and so far my husband pays for everything. I'm talking about the future if we decide to buy a house. If I pay half, my name will most deffo be on the lease.

I'm not going on blind trust like our hooyos generation who gave their husbands money for houses and businesses and when things went sour between them, they have no proof that half of the house or business belongs to them. They never get their money back.

@VixR @Desert Flower @TheShinning @IstarZ @saredochani10

Lease? you mean mortgage. I feel a little embarrassed how little some women in this site have. Don't you all have your own emergency fund? Or a single person to bail you out? This is seriously getting ridiculous. How do these woman exist.

Tayda kale waxaa maxay sheekdan "hadu uu san ninka igu qoriin guuriga etc waa ka kac ?" I just hope that those who espouse such believes did actually contribute financially towards the property, etc that they seek entitlement for, otherwise waa gabdho aan ciyaaraynin wale as you uk lot say " these gyaldem moving mad" :faysalwtf:

So a man is only credible and suitable as a partner not on the basis of him being able to provide but on the basis of sharing his assets and accumulated earnings etc ? just out of curiosity is debt also included in the sharing of assets mise ? :ayaanswag:

yaabka yaabkis

I wonder how productive this mentality of assessing things on the basis of "who's getting more and who's getting less " in a relationship actually is ? live and let live i guess :yacadiim:

People always want what they can’t have, she only wants you because she sees that you have moved on. There are two types of men, one that can see through the bs of women that want them when they’re in healthy relationship and the one that’s not used to women attention so he genuinely thinks she is into him, Don’t be that guy. Don’t ruin something good for something that didn’t work before

Halima why do you think any woman with different view is hoodwinked and you are so woke? I dont want xalimo who pays my rent. Cooking and cleaning is a womans job and im not getting married to a woman who dont do that. Luckily for me most women do it
