Not really. Farmaajo is not supporting ethiopia to take any of our land and sea. Didnt you listen to abiy? Farmaajo straight up told him i hate ethiopia because they keep interfering in our internal affairs. Abiy promised that this new regime will never do that. When ethiopia has their public media claim they own our sea and land, when ethiopia pm publicly says we will install a president after farmaajo that will give us the case, and when ethiopia has a court case at the icj with somalia then we will talk.

Why is it a sin to have good relations with ethiopia so they dont fund instability in somalia and they dont interfere in our internal affairs? The two cant be compared, ethiopia isnt claiming anything and isnt desperately funding militia to take our land. In fact, somalis in ethiopia welcomes the new stability since jail ogaden is closed and somalis arent getting murdered in the 1000s. Even onlf is no longer fighting.
I support having good relations with kenya but i dont support letting them get away with pure trangressions. If tomorrow a nrw president of kenya comes and says we will no longer try to get somali sea and land. We can have good relations but not when they want to ruin future generations wealth and somalias future. Get it?

Somalia should aspire to be like turkey, a lone libaax surrounded by enemy everywhere but still triumphs.

What's standing in the way of Somalia's development is AS and lack of security. The sooner that's fixed, the sooner the government can take more control over the country, meaning more tax revenue(more spending on military)as well as a lift on arms embargo. Once those two things are done, we can slowly rebuild, and ask countries like turkey to actually train us on how to manufacture weapons ourselves. Somalia needs security to prosper. All this ciil and hatred for Ethiopia and Kenya should wait until we are very strong(having allies in the international stage) to karbaash both of them, because in a straight up war with no one helping them, wallahi we can take on both of them, even today let alone if we are stronger, but they'll always win because they have the backing of the big boys.

Somalia's entire budget is less than 500million, and more than half of that comes from donors, meaning the money generated from Somalia is like 200 or so million. that's literally scraps. You couldn't even cover that with 200,000 soldiers' wages, let alone anything else. if you increase that to 5billion, then you can start seeing real progress, and there's no reason why that can't be done since Somalia already has a gdp of about 10 billion as shit as it is right now, that can be trippled in less than a decade if we security.

The biggest hurdle is security, after security, you can increase revenue by taxing.

Even Eritrea and South Sudan have never been independent on two occasions whilst we have albeit we were a nation for only 5 days in 1960.
