Kenya uses JL as buffer zone against Al-Shabaab. It is something that is not ideal but it is allowed for security reasons. Now that Kenya is losing the ICJ case it is claiming Jubaland as its own. That is why Farmaajo stationed troops in Gedo. Kenya will eventually be kicked out of Somalia. Don't worry about that. JL and PL are never going to fight the SNA on Kenyas orders.
