It’s been 4 months of fighting lol. If Shabaab had any power they’d have changed the momentum.

It also doesn’t take much other than the public saying enough. It’s how Cayr defeated Shabaab and Sacad too without any state help.

I won't say anything bad about those who are risking their lives, however I'm looking at it from a system wide view. State and federal forces teaming up would be ideal however militias are prone to infiltration and spontaneous infighting.

Let's hope the FGS military aids these people to develop a new front line.

Ceelbuur, Xarardheere, Adan Yabaal, Jilib, Buale are the most obvious ones in GM, HS, JL. Act as their bases in these states. But they are more in the tuulos nowadays. Most cities are under the FGS

Middle Jubba is under Shabaab.

Shabaab are struggling to get water and food to their soldiers, many of the captured fighters were very malnourished.

So it’s likely they’ll have to resort to stealing even more livestock given they have no supply routes in Galguduud. Rebellions are going to be inevitable if this continues
