US trained Danab special forces last night captured and destroyed a strategic Al-shabab base in Hiiraan. 18 terrorist were killed and their office and infrasture destroyed in Degaanka Bud Aable. Al-shabab used this base to plan bombings and assisnations.

That’s why Murusade are absolutely crucial in this fight. Not only are they the strongest clan in ceelbur town, they also hold a large and densely populated baadiyo surrounding it and can besiege shabab at a moments notice.

The last time when we captured Ceelbuur they all left voluntarily with Shabaab and came back with them. We had even left supplies in the city to entice them to leave Shabaab and were willing to hand over the city to them as long as they left Shabaab. They are committed khawarij.

Inshallah with the deteriorating Shabaab finances, droughts etc will cause disillusionment within the whole ceelbuur degmo as shabaab will have to recruit more and more Murusade boys in a useless war and also tax them far more than already in a time of drought. Also Shabaab in galgaduud is now cut off from their southern division.

It’s not helpful right now though. Getting rid of Shabaab should be all we focus on. We can disarm militias a lot easier than liberating Somalia from khawarij.

Secondly everyone in Somalia has weapons lol. The government doesn’t even really need to give them that. They should provide support with embedding them with SNA and give logistic and tactical support, open up supply lines so they don’t run out of food water etc.

It’s not helpful right now though. Getting rid of Shabaab should be all we focus on. We can disarm militias a lot easier than liberating Somalia from khawarij.
