How come Somalis don't eat halal food in some countries?

Oh wow, over the border? That's trek.. Did you guys go over the border too? Ngl, personally I eat everything with halal stamped on it. That's how most Muslims I knew back in Holland were. I don't even know if there's a prevalent board like the HMC over there. Tbh I didn't even know the stunning thing was controversial and that a large chunk of Muslims entirely deviated from it until a few years back.

Yes. Once a month people go France and Germany to buy meat. What’s worse is at checkpoints you are only allowed to have a possession of one kilo of meat per person. So the more practicing muslims there go and together in groups kkk. Me too I’ve only recently found out about it, thank god my family doesn’t buy fastfood much. Apparently nandos is hfc certified not hmc. And hfc allow stunning, which has a mixed opinion.

I personally will read hadiths as much as I can and if it doenst contridict the quran then I accept and follow it. Allah bought the prophet for us to follow his life. To me when I hear someone is a quranist they just sound lazy to me in the most important aspect of their life.

UK sounds like it has undergone a Muslim invasion. Conservative white people would go nuts here in the states if halal food was being served in schools. They would think schools were trying to convert children to Islam.

It’s the governing body’s responsibility to cater for the needs of certain student. If school meat was not halal parents wouldn’t allow their kids to eat it and this will hurt the school financially if you live in a muslim populated neighbourhood. So if there’s lots of muslim students its the schools that gains by giving halal options to muslim students.

We got a big Muslim population here in Dallas Texas. We got one of the nicest and biggest mosques in the United States . There are definently halal grocery stores that muslims indeed shop at and acquire meat. It's a the main spot people get meat from. But restaurant wise there isn't that many. Some around or close to the mashies. Others just scattered around the city and neighboring towns as well. The advertising isn't well though since I can barely name about 4.

Yea I haven't gone to a school that had a large Muslim population. Usually we were less than 10% of the students that attended the schools.

You shouldn't feel guilty eating meat that wasn't slaughtered. The Quran says to eat in the name of Allah, not slaughter. Nowhere in the Quran does it say meat that wasn't slaughtered is haram. Don't feel bad.
