It's hard to get a house in London. Most Somalis coming don't have jobs that could afford them private housing for a large family in London. That's why they have moved to the second largest Somali hub. Birmingham. Most of the social housing in London was taken by Asians in the 80's and 90's. They then bought it from the government with a massive discount and now milk people dry with eye-watering rent charges.
