I have this one cousin who is as old as my mom. He came to the United States with my mom and he was a xaafid of Quran and very Islamic. He married this fat white lady who is a gaalo and now he became a gaalo and has an attitude of a white person. All the people in my family who married foreigners except for him are divorced, which is why I don’t want to and don’t recommend marrying foreigners.

What you have to realise is some masjids just want more and more reverts to stay in the deen obviously especially as places like prisons are bringing more and more people to the deen so they want the brother to marry a Muslim women to help him stay in the deen.
If the dude just came out of the prison, could he afford the mehr for an Asian girl, no he can't. Asians are more established in the UK so therefore there are more of them doing well so their daughters demand higher mehrs.
Then it comes down which muslim community are recent, numerous and have beautiful women who practise the deen and aren't doing as well, its us Somalis which why the masjids work with Somali elders to get the women they want for the guys.

How come almost every single mixed-race Somali person you have met or are related to comes from a broken home?
Now compare that to the full-blooded Somali people you know.
Be very careful and vet foreigners more than you would a Somali, the risks are far greater.

Most Somalis have parents that are still together.
Even most young Somalis are married even if if it's their second marriage.

Nothing wrong with interracial marriages. That's where society is headed like it or not. It's all about compatibility at the end of the day.
It's sickening how quickly some of these girls marry former convicts. I'll never forget the case of the lady who married a former convict "revert" who was caught raping her son. He was just a pedophile that found a single mother to prey on.

A Somali friend’s cousin was murdered, chopped up and put in the freezer by her Somali husband. She had a little baby. I’m sure there are similar stories of Somali women being beaten, emotionally abused or even murdered by their Somali husbands.
I volunteered in a women’s shelter a while back. There were women from diverse ethnic backgrounds mostly married to and mistreated by men from their own backgrounds. It’s not a full-proof method. There are crazies in every ethnic background and guurka waa calaf.
I do agree compatibility is important but ppl will prioritize what is of significance to them. For some it’s cultural/language compatibility, for others educational/professional background, yet for another group it’s wealth and lineage. It’s a personal perspective/choice imo.
