Nobody expected that USC militias would kill Daarood civilians, that's why nobody bothered to flee the city. It kinda gives me the Siad Barre regime vibes up in the northern Somali peninsula. My Eidagale friend told me that people of Hargeisa was busy praying ASR and when they came out from the mosques they saw planes that started bombing the entire city full of civilians.

I'm part what you call cad cad , so is my wife ,most of my cousins and familly friends in degmaada shibis,boondhere xamarjabjab , waadajir /jazeeradah and afgooye . If what your saying is true then why would these minorities live and mix with us ?

I don’t know if you been keeping up with the DNA Somali projects but the vast majority of Daroods got haplogroup E-V32.

Sheikh Darood probably existed but it’s more likely that he was a Somali rather than a Gulf Arab.

All Hawiye youth born from that era are in their 20s and early 30s.

There Were mainly three Harti/MJ migration to Jubaland, first wave was mid 1800 and they were traders, Fishermen and they were trading with Bajuun people. Most were Reer Beri, Ali Saleebaan, Swaaqroon, Cusman maxamud , Wabeneeye , Abdirahman Harti, Libaan Harti and Amaanle with boats and Ships and later they fought against Wardey Ormo, who now lives in Kenya Tan River in Lamu county.
Second wave were so called Hurdiyiin.
My grandfather was Hurdiyiin , they came late 1800 and early 1900 , around 1905, they were Italian Solider fighting against British after German left Jubada House. Italian with Hurdiyiin soldiers pushed British and captured Wajir. My grandfather was one of them and my father was born in Jubada Hoose Hurdiyiin is well known in Jubada hoose.
Third wave was reer Nugaaleed , mainly Ciise maxamud and Dhulbahante, they came around 1910 to 1920 they escaped from Dervish and Syedka, after Dervish took their livestock’s and there land. Another word they were kicked out from Nugaal, by war with Dervish.
Other MJ reer mudug, like Cumar maxamud, Reer Baciidyahan and Reer maxamud, they came later for economic reasons and mainly they live in Jamame,Goshe and they are farmers.They don’t live in Joore or Kismayo.
Those who live Joore are mainly Ciise maxamud and Dhulbahante original reer Nugaaleed and Reer Bari.
