Do you believe more care should be given in raising a young girl or a boy of similar age and why?

I don't think anyone who understands the human condition would ask this. And I think there stems the issue. A lot of men's inability to actually see women as people is lacking. Very rarely would we even entertain the idea of beating a Farax into a pulp for struggling with listening to Music or lowering his gaze by someone who does 5x worse. The idea of that even happening to someone like you is unfathomable. As humans we know that all that would do is turn the person away from whatever morals you're trying to teach them. I mean, how could they, violence and also hypocrisy is at play. It breeds hatred, resentment and potential mental health issues.

That type of mindset is how honor killing and just overal mistreatment of abuse is justified. Its the height of hypocrisy, as they're committing a sin to stop a hypothetical sin. Really shows that islam isn't valued here, but the control and brutalization of women. This even harks back to the behavior of their ancestors during their pagan jaahiliya. In those cultures, it doesn't stop at sins. Getting a divorce, refusing to marry who they want you to marry, being a victim of rape ect all of that is seen as warranting abuse in those types of cultures.

Actually being decent Muslims worth listening to in the first place and understanding that being qawuum also means kindness and patience. The Quran and Sunnah is clear on the matter. Actually see women as people. I don't know what happens in some men's socialisation for them to get to a point in life in which they struggle to see women's humanity.

Yeah it’s generalising af. Those types of men are a minority amongst muslims as a whole let alone Somalis where they’re 0.1% at most. Most muslim men are well-adjusted, average or weak dayuus.
