Whilst Somali people were never United and were divided via clan lines, we still had a sense of identity. We fought each other, killed each other but still married one another and viewed each other as equals who have the same language, history and heritage.
Most aren’t racist like that and within the same family you have some who look straight Somali as the amount of Somali blood varies with them. Some are even like 70%.
