It would have been nice if all of Horn of Africa and East Africa would have been muslim. There would still be ethnic tensions, but Islam will solve them. The tensions are partly driven by religion so there could theoritically be more peace. Imagine if Ethiopia and Eritrea where Muslim countries. Somalia wouldn’t have to fight Ethiopia for Galbeed and thus focus on Kenya which I also hope would be muslim.
