And funny how you got owned but have the auducity to use that emoji. Makes no sense at all. When did I say I'd live in Canada? And even if I were to, who knows what the future tuition rates will be? You can't say for certain. Who said I'll have between 6 and 10 children either, or that my family will even be Somali. You don't know where I'll live in the future or even if I will live at all. There's a real possibility I won't have to pay for multiple university degrees. And even if I do, only partially. There are just so many variables at play here it would take ages to name them all. What if I do live but decide not to have children? Too many factors.
Who was talking about Y O U? This is a general discussion and if that wasn’t implied by the vocabulary I was using I apologize, my bad.

Rip to Americans in Canada if your grades were good in highschool and you live at home your tuition is more than manageable
Isn’t the tuition for Oxford/Cambridge and other large UK Unis like 21k or is that just for international students? :cosbyhmm:
y’all must have it really easy then. No worries about healthcare, getting an education isn’t a pain, no worries about cars etc.
My bad :ohno:

“If you’ve never heard of it, Wales is a country east of England. I know this all must be a headache for you.”
“You’re extremely ignorant and don’t know what you’re talking about at all.”
kkkkk
Typical of me in what sense? The math is all right :mjdontkno:
You can’t physically send 6 kids to university for 4 years each even in countries like Canada and the UK where tuition is like 1/4 of US tuition. Unless you had say top tier saving skills and starved your children their entire lives lmaoo
What’s wrong with having an extra income, remind me please?
Alright, I forgot I did. But have you heard of it? Just out of curiosity. I know it isn't a particularly well-known country worldwide. But anyways who says I can't? My salary won't necessarily be 100 k, nor will it remain stagnant through the entirety of my career. It also shouldn't be my only source of income, there are many other ways of making money.

Lmao
Do you know how difficult grants and scholarships are to get? Even then the larger ones aren’t necessarily for kids and are nearly impossible to get for those who are in that 75k+ family income range.
Grants are automatically given to you when you apply for tuition loans, however, they do vary based on your family income. 75k range income still do get grants but not as much as a low income family. Families could claim their child as a dependent on thier taxes and use that to get larger credits.

Nope. All of them are the same for British students. And this isn't a shot at you but I think it's fair to say it's not that we have it easy, but you have it hard. Good luck in America.

I’m from canada not the uk so I’m not sure but in Canada tuitions around 9-10 k cad before any scholarships or grants
:rejoice: :westbrookswag:

And you must be kidding me if you think healthcare is a privilege, it's a human right. And cars are still paid for, what did you mean by that??? :what:

Again I wasn’t talking about you and was taking a standpoint from the average north american that has a back thought that they are making decent money when they’re really not
yes, I genuinely hopethat the general consensus outside of the United States is that we don’t know any geography, which is honestly kinda true but I’m not sure.
im still lost on whyyou’re so off out by the idea of having a second stream of income? What’s the harm?

I’m not one of the crazy capitalists but you can’t necessarily ride off of government healthcare if you’re past a certain income

Well when a mother works it isn't just about extra income, is it? It comes with strings attached. Less time with kids, which is highly detrimental, less time with husband also, and still having those duties housewives typically have.

When a mother works the chores simply begin to be split, no? Yes mothers kinda have to stay at home with the children while they are infants, but past that having an extra source of income is clearly beneficial. Less time with the husband kind of doesn’t make sense, it’s not necessarily a priority and if they’re a typical household working almost the same hours not much is changed really. :mjdontkno:

Why wouldn't you want more time with the kids? Even when they're older they deserve a mother. I know the husband isn't a priority but it is something I imagine you might want, even just a little. It also isn't just about the added income, there's more to it. There's more to life than money.

You also should consider how much added income that is and compare it to how much time together you'll lose.

“you”? I’m again talking ~ generally ~
Yes there is more to life than money but living your entire life without achieving anything but having kids and raising them? Who wants to be known for being a housewife and mother and not much else? A relatively boring life to say the least. Aspiration is human nature, it’s not just about money.

Can someone not take into account simply doing something with themselves? Maybe engaging in what, astrophysics? Epi? Become the second idk Khawlah Bint Al Azwar? Why can’t someone check out what’s outside of their bounds and try for something?

No, I never said that.
