They are all beautiful Mashallah. All the pictures look amazing. I spent time in Muqdisho, Merca, and Kismayo. I played soccer on their beaches. They all share the Mediterranean style look. And Hargaysa looks beautiful. Somalia the beautiful.





Imagine visiting these towns throughout the year for business and chat your brethren wherever you go, break bread with them, make connections in all towns you go. Life would be good.

Maydh is so beautiful. Simply perfection, like a scene out of a movie.

Merca looks claustraphobic, as does kismayo. So many settlements near the beach doesn't look good.

The google map of Merca shows exactly this. They didn't have good street planning and it is a cluster of buildings, some dilapidated and crumbling. Sometimes we got lost for an hour before we found where we wanted lol. Your road can get blocked by an entire building. Hargaysa has better street designs than Merca. It is all alleys and narrow pathways between buildings in merka.

With that said, it looks like a disorganized old Algeria, Morocco, and other Mediterranean small towns. Same with Kismayo, it has old sections and new. The new look similar to the rest of Somali towns.

Gendershe town, imagine owning beach house and fishing boat there. Long walks at beach, eat fresh fish daily and grow my own vetgetable at backyard. Best place to retire.
