If you follow the global moonsighting position then if a group of Muslims declare that they have sighted the moon you must follow them. Slowly the reports out of east Africa are being verified. You already have major scholars like Sh. Umal and others confirming it in Kenya and Somalia. Masjids in Somali diaspora communities are now confirming and letting other ajanabi run masjids know that the reports are legit. For instance Khalid ibn Walid masjid Toronto, Canada has declared Eid will be tomorrow. And the crescent council of Canada a global moon sighting committee is confirming the reports!

Don’t just blindly follow saudi because they could be wrong! Once again for the one who follows global moon sighting position if the moon was sighted by Muslims anywhere in the world then you must eid tomorrow!!! Eid mubarak and eid wanagsan!
