lol, what has qabil done for us. We’re out here living in some next man’s country as our county is in disarray. A tribeless child has no issues. Sis, they know this. Tribe and ethnicity is the only trump card they have into bulling Somali girls who are okay with IR into not marrying out. Even now, if a Somali woman with a well connected family went back home, she can easily bribe officials into giving her ajnabi kids a passport.

I’m going to sound bias, but I really believe from my observations, kids with Somali hooyos are much more likely to marry back into the community, although they’re tribeless. It’s a double edged sword. They tend to be more Somali and pick up the lang more, but aren’t technically Somali.

Combination of things tbh. Another thing is that Somalis despite being patriarchal with regards to lineage do respect the mothers side as well. If those kids have prominent Abtiyaal and grandfathers, they’ll be respected a little bit more. Mothers side does matter in our culture.
