"Think" in Somali??????

Just googled it. Sigh I guess we didn’t have any word for Think.

“Waxaan u malaaynaya” is the closest one
somali language is unique and difficult just one word in english but in somali too many words, look= eeg/fiiri/dhugo/arag.....

Lol, we do have a language but the amount of foreign words in it are crazy. Decades ago Somali linguists used to say 30% of our language is Arabic. Add the English and Italian loanwords and perhaps that percentage goes up to 50%:icon lol:

Islamic loanwords I GET it, but the fact that we replaced simple everyday words with Arabic words is just disgrace.

January-December= Italian, Eng, Arabic....

But why did Somalis choose foreign words over their this is mostly I am not interested to be part of Somalis nor the country cuz I think Somalis themself will erase their whole identity Somalis already with language and culture the only thing left is to drop Somali name even non Somalis are claiming to Somalis and claiming Somali tribe this putted me off mostly
