Arabic is still widely used across Somali society, from car/motor number plates to street signs. More Somalis back home should learn their official language.

The Latin script was bad. How do you explain C being pronounced almost like A. Ayn would’ve sufficed and made more sense. No we speak a dumber version of afaan Oromo mixed with Arabic

Latin alphabet was the only one that could best cope with the sounds of Somali. Besides, a script doesn't change a language's grammar, syntax or phonology so its nothing like Oromo lol
