GENETICS Somalis' Specific Mtdna clades

Thats also where I hail from, maybe we’re directly maternally related
That could be possible, maybe also you could be on my 23andme relatives list since we are on the same region my maternal family are from berbera and burco my partenal are from hargeisa

It’s not rare at all. It’s common among horners, and significant throughout the Middle East

Well it’s very very common for East Africans to share Mtdna with Yemenis apparently. I’ve read somewhere that there was a migration from the Arabian peninsula to the Horn around the Ice Age. Could explain why there’s so much Yemenis and other Arabs branching close to all our non African lineages. But the same is true for our African lineages, meaning we have also had a significant impact on them.

Hi y'all.

Is it possible for all the somalis that have done 23andme tests to post their 23andme assigned Mtdna results as well as processing their raw data into https://dna.jameslick.com/mthap/ (which does not even take 4m) to see what their sub-clades might be.
I am particularly interested in the R0a somalis.

(You can try to find your clade on https://www.yfull.com/mtree/, which is cool)

What’s the most common maternal haplogroups, do you have a chart of it,
