Have you noticed that Somalis congregate the poorest ghetto areas with inferior schools and bad peer influence for their children, while most of the other recent migrant Muslims move to the suburbs to shield their kids from bad influence and give them better opportunities in education? The sheikhs of these Muslims gave them a green light to buy homes in better and safer neighbourhoods because it’s a necessity. The Somali sheikhs don’t want to lose their herds and ban them from mortgages.

Interest rates were so low for along time and know it’s rising.

Borrowing was so cheap not so long ago. So many businesses could’ve been opened, that door is know closed.

It's not just that i'm fine with some ppl being overly religious zealots, but sometimes they just kill people's hope in allah they make his rules seem so rigid. I seen a hadith were he forgave a murderer (hell nabi musa was a murderer) yet when a starving somali goes near usury then it becomes instant jahannam for that person. I on the other hand think that if you're a genuinely good person then allah will forgive you for doing whatever is necessary in that time period to provide for your family.
