I have yet to find a reputable source that explicitly states there was a widespread Somali slave trade. None have so far. I have heard of accounts of Somalis selling non-Somalis (albeit this wasn't widespread). In terms of slavery, it was more widespread in Asia and China corners the market today. The question I have is why you'd want to take on a story that is not yours. You will never be AA or Islander, despite what you think of them.
