Actually the earliest known mention of the term Somali comes from the 14th century, King yesaq of Abyssinia in a song mentioned Somalis

What can i say other than pure obsession perhaps stemming from deep rooted inferiority complex or some sort of need to prove themselves to others. They would follow us anywhere i tell you. Never have i ever actively looked for oromos or where they gather nor did i ever think of emulating them but the opposite cannot be said about a lot of them.
