No region/state in Africa will get independence unless the West wants it. It will undermine the current colonial era borders and cause mayhem in the diverse ethnic states across the world and especially in the ridiculously fake african countries.

As well, it gives legitimacy to foreign independence movements so the UK and Spain aren't going to be recognizing any new countries unless it aligns perfectly in their interests for example.

Idk honestly, Somaliland has a better chance than PL since it was a separate protectorate but even that's a ridiculous longshot. PL is going nowhere unless the United States decides otherwise it has no claim to be independent unless it tries to argue the MJ sultanate prior to Italian rule.
