I remember it being only sand and the planes were Russian aeroplanes from the cold war with shady Central Asian (Uzbek, Kazakh etc) pilots.

Loool yeah it's definitely one of our biggest accomplishments so far, from that to this

Should be our next goal, Omanair would be nice too since many puntites live on Oman and ofc UAE for obvious reasons.

yeah the mountains are big, qandala mountains are even bigger. It looks nice with the coast tbh.

Between the three Somali airports that I have actually seen in person (Bosaso, Garowe and Hargaysa) my favorite one is Bosaso. It is very well built and managed. The view is amazing! One interesting thing that I have noticed, in Hargaysa airport, we had to walk from the apron area to the arrivals area and it was very windy that day and the walk was long. This annoyed my sister and I cause we kept holding onto our dresses so our legs wouldn't get exposed....we had our carry-on luggage/purses which made holding our dresses even more difficult uff just thinking about it still irks me but yeah so after what seemed like forever we finally made it to the arrivals. At Bosaso airport we were bused to the arrivals area (thank God cause it was very hot that day).
