Your parents should’ve taught y’all how to be responsible and save money. My fiancé has been saving money since he started working at the age of 16 cause his parents taught him how to be self sufficient and have his own money in the bank. He is going to pay all of the wedding expenses, honeymoon, and he will still have money left to put down for mortgage.

Same but I don't want to spend most/all of my money on it. I think it has to be reasonable especially if you know you have options.

Many girls run away if he don't want to pay a lot of Mehr, guys with options are starting to run away if she wants to break the bank.

the meher was over and i was devastated at failing my first attempt to go legit but at same time i felt relief, from not having to deal with the girls parents and her lack of spine when it came to her mother.

so i cut her off completely but i still wasnt ready to play in the mud again, cause even though i went through hell i really saw the beauty of marriage and i wasnt going back to my old ways.

i started focus on improving myself by regularly hitting the gym working on my budget and improving my psyche.
not long after the girl hit me up with text messages, voice message crying her heart out and saying if she couldnt have me she would commit suicide.

i really got scared for her and she sounded serious cause i never heard her talk like this before, she did cry many times during the meher period she called while in tears several times, and i had to calm her down but this was different.

so i called her with no intentions of getting back with her, i just wanted to set her straight. i said are you not muslim how are you going to explain taking your own life for a man to Allah on judgment day. she said she didnt care because i was her first love and i was going to be her last through marriage or death which ever.

she sent me pictures of her wrists and they were burned and cut thats when it all got real for me, i consulted with both male and female friends and relatives. some told me that women are manipulative and do these things to get a man back others were shocked and told me if i didnt hate the girl i should take her back.


i came up with a new plan i was going to play along by entertain her wishes until i got a chance to let her go easy and on good terms, cause i couldnt go back to that sad family i just couldnt go through that again, i really didnt have any problems with the girl except for her obedience to her mother but then again that was her mother.

so we re started our relationship over again.

Wallahi he offered to pay her student loan and she agreed. He paid all 70k off and still managed to give her a big wedding and they bought a house. They dated less than a year when they got married, she didn't save his life or anything.


This is why I'm always surprised when I see guys on sspot complaining about Meher prices. I know guys in real life who buys their wife's parents houses in the suburbs let alone have a problem with 20k Meher.

But like I've said on several occasions I don't know any broke niggas in real life, these problems are foreign to me.

Options? It depends on the girl, if she wants want big wedding then you have to fork out atleast 35k if she has low standards and cheap she would opt out for a small wedding.
