Do some exploring. They have many adult oriented series and as I pointed out, Japanese people go to movies to watch anime movies.

Start with Death Note and Hero Mask. Cool story lines both.

@I watched every single Jojo but I haven't finished Golden wind, I got busy with life. Man seeing Vento Aureo as someone who grew up in Italy I can tell u they nailed things down pretty well.
