I don’t know how it works in other states but in my state of Washington every neighborhood has a vote drop box. People have a whole month plus the Election Day to drop off their ballots or vote in person

I wonder why people of California and Washington vote since their votes hold no weight. A Florida or Pennsylvania voter is 10 times more important than a voter in California or New York. The electoral college tends to over-value rural voters.

Their electoral votes do count but they are important as the Midwestern or other working class states. The electoral college was invented to give voice to small or less advantaged states. If popular vote was counted then California alone would decide the president.
