First of all this guy on quora doesn’t have Islamic credentials and his opinion don’t hold much weight. He only stated his speculations.

The Hadith in Sahih al-Bukhari 5133 is sahih (authentic) and nobody has thought about questioning it in the last 1400 years until now.

One needs to ask him/herself are we being true to the scriptures when we make speculations like this ? Or are we simply trying hard to please the European ?
