Thank you sis Aabe Siyaad the Father of the Nation was a true hero, under his rule Somalia had the strongest army in Aftica, fighters jets, training missions, powerful passport undisputed rank and tenure.

I wish I lived under his era where education was free, healthcare and electricity free also! Plenty of jobs and a robust refugee aid program that airlifted thousands of refugees into Jubaland from drought stricken regions

Tbh it would be better to oust Siyaad barre via military coup or protests and revolution. The insurgency and Jabahaat destroyed our nation and now makes Siyaad look much better. For the north in Somaliland, their situation is much better and freer than Siyaad Barre and including Puntland but for reer konfuur, it has gotten much worse. He admired hitler. They were both socialist and fascist. They believed in Ethnic superiority and wanted a centralized system composing of only their race or ethnicity. If you look closely at Hitler, you'll see similarities with Siyaad Barre. But if we're being fare, Somalia would probally be better off under the antichrist let alone Hitler by how it's looking today. At the very least these two felt the need to dominate their regions. One being Africa and the Horn and the other being Europe and the western world. The genocide against the jews and blaiming them for the short coming of Hitler's goals can be parreled with Siyaad Barre's actions against the Isaaq.
