Has anyone here ever had Somalis in their class?

Primary, secondary and sixth form, lots of Somalis around me (fond memories)

Uni and beyond: zero to minimal contact, not too bothered about this tbh.

Not yet. I’ve run into one as a patient (a cute lady having a baby), and two of them through work (good looking guys with a bad radar; one is a neuro-surgeon resident who found out through his nurse that I’ve worked with that I’m Somali, and other guy works the info desk and still doesn’t have a clue even though we say hello whenever he’s working the desk, though I haven’t seen him recently).

There is a wall in my school where all the Somalis stand and talk. You will find Somalis everywhere at my school.

A Somali doctor in Seoul? That’s very impressive.

From 5th on up to freshman year of high school. Schools run by somalis. Most ghetto i've ever been to by far. Suspensions and expulsions every week, talking back/fighting the teachers, we made the news every week lmao. Crazy times :mjlol:

We were bad kids. We had a new superintendent every other week because the other one would leave. There was one math teacher that they loved to torture. Would wait after the bell rang and one kid would slowly dim the lights and the other would hide behind her lectern. Would jump her and beat her ass smh. Another kid would hide in the closet and would jump out with his paper bra and scream for no reason. Weird ass schools :kanyehmm:

He went Oxford at a 2 1/2 year accelearated degree, since I know for a fact he did his A-levels in Year 12 instead of 13. He entered a year early at age 17. All Somalis in the area knew about him, then they (Oxford) sent him to south korea to compleate the remaining years. For all I know he was a doctor last time we heard about him in Samsung Medical Center. I do not know what happened or what he did, but I know 100% that he is indeed sucessful!

Wallahi, I do not know about the 2nd, I was just told, "he was a doctor" when I enquired about it in Doha. Apparently also London, So I was baffled, but I assume that he was the same.
