I didn't really care as I assumed Issaqs had their own reasons for wanting to secede and they seem to dislike the idea of being united with Somalia. No point in chasing after them if they don't want us. It would be harder for the other federal states as there wouldn't be seen a reason for them to secede, unlike Issaqs. In fact, the Rahanweyn could make a case for their own country.

They won't even need a legitimate reason since the isaaqs leaving would undermine and throw the country back into shambles and it would just lead to everyone jumping ship. They already have what they need to make there own countries

Yes that is obvious enough because somaliland has been banking on it for 30 years but they can't do anything so none of the other clans see a point in doing anything major until they are successful

Think of it like this all international support and budget given to the country as aid goes to somalia. Somaliand isn't international recognised so it's basically and mainly a solo effort. It won't take long for somalia to become stable and dwarf somaliland in development and revenue. Time itself will force somalia and somaliand to unite even if they don't want to

Not really they just were able to put themselves in a position to seek to secede from the country based off the stability they gained for themselves but they never actually gained anything from the destablization of Somalia in fact no one has in the country. Somalia being unstable has held everyone back

Not really they just were able to put themselves in a position to seek to secede from the country based off the stability they gained for themselves but they never actually gained anything from the destablization of Somalia in fact no one has in the country.
