There are slums everywhere in the world, but Ethiopia is making strides for economic growth. On social media, a Somali clan builds a three story hotel in their tribal region and it is considered progress. why can't we aim higher and join Ethiopia?

I didn't mean religion as a whole, I meant Somali religion or Somali interpretation. We are very different from how we were 20 years ago, far more conservative and I just don't agree it is a good thing.

There's no such thing as Africa or Africans. It's just a fake modern concept created by the likes of academics and politicians. The people on the continent never really felt any real unity toward each other nor was it even historically spoken of as one wide region comprising a united people or a people who should be united. f*ck's sake, it's name just comes from a Roman Province. Even the concept of a continent is just some made-up pseudoscience and all Africa is would be a lump of rocks on this planet inhabited by a wide array of distinct peoples. Lol, see what I did there? A simple-minded chap who sees big buildings & metros and thinks some sort of advanced society has been chanced upon, lol. I grew up in the Capitalist wet dream. A place that was, as they love to say, recently a fishing village and then became a jewel of the world and believe me; it's still a shithole and Ethiopia 50 years from now will be too. Just some garbage dump oligarchical states where only like 1-10% of the population truly lives freely and wealthy while everyone else is mostly a wage/salary slave. Sure, it's by far preferable to f*ck-holes like what Djibouti and Somalia are now but nothing to get your dick hard over and strive toward.
The best we can hope for under Capitalism is some sort of collection of Social-Democratic states but even they won't truly remove the sort of horrendous inequality Capitalism creates nor the grating need for constant work or even remove its corruption all that much. In fact, they'll suffer from the usual dipping population sizes that will require a constant injection of immigrants as a supplement to maintain pointless and seemingly endless economic growth unless you wanna end up like Japan or some shit. But of course, ending up like Japan is inevitable in this case if the entire continent and world develops and there are really no more immigrants as most of the world will be developed and people would just be migrating to the same living standards and economic conditions they just came from.
Read some actual economic, historical and cultural theory, mayne. Like, both right-wing and left-wing stuff. Actually try to figure out the ideal society and stop being a generic white man's boot-licker by thinking you're enlightened cos you figured out the Qur'an might be made up and just accepting shit that's already proving to be horrendous in the West as the ideal to work toward because you have a dumb 3rd worlder mentality and automatically look at anything western as superior.
