@Mckenzie Hows your hobyo port project coming along :russ:

I'm happy for the people of Garacad they're my fellow reer Mudug, though it might seem like a rat race to you, if both ports are up and running, it is reer Bosaso who will suffer the most.

A port in Galmudug can serve every region to the South and Sacad have business acumen. Our contacts go deep into Galbeed too. You'll be left to only serve poor nomads from Gaalkacyo, Burtinle, Garowe and Goldogob.

Rather then a 'port' race, I'd prefer a factory race. We don't even build our own furniture. Imagine how many thousands of jobs can be created just to build furniture and it can hire thousands of people. A port indicates your not intending to create a local economy but just doing what somalis usually do, buying someone else products which silently means 'his superior to you'

If they spent that money on garacad port into building furniture factories. We would have not only residential market such as homes as clients around the nation but also the ministries who would be 'forced' to buy your products or else it would send a bad signal to the community. Puntland has created this 'plastic' chair factory. But I mean more wood/steel based furniture. If someone else then invests into the tumaal industry and say you deal with the supply of metals(100s of jobs) right there while someone else does 'furniture' factory(100s) of jobs. Now you added a thousand low income people and bumped them up to have money which will result in a local boom for the property market because that's what people usually buy when they have money, it's properties.

This only requires 5-6 investors to be told by our government we want you to invest in a wood factory that will provide wood to the market. Tell another one you will invest in a steel factory who will provide our steel. Then another one is told you invest a furniture factory. Through this u have bumped up our GDP immensely, they are now creating more products. A port is just one finished product and will be assessed as ONE THING YOU ADDED for the whole fuckin year.

Go away your a MORYAN, all you know is how to loot other people wealth. Your just a typical fuckin moryaan who provides nothing beneficial. Your region is the most backward, your people are the least developed as a whole. I noticed where-ever Habar gedir is located, it's always a shithole and dangerous.

insha'Allah in the next decade Somalis dominate in trade like they used too.

with this now underway and Hobyo on top of Mog & Berbera Bosaaso (Maydh is under construction & Zeila is receiving interest).

Gotta link all those ports together with roads airports trains and passenger boat bus

The video explains everything.
Garacad port will be Somalia's largest and deepest port. It will be able to hold 2 big ships and 8 boats at a time. It will also receive containers.

Port depths across the country:
Bosaso: 6.7 m
Mogadishu: 9 m
Kismayo: 9 m
Berbera: 10-11 m
Garacad: 11.5 m

This is made possible because of Garacad's ideal spot. The rocks needed to make the port are only 1 km away. It also has natural depth so underwater digging won't be necessary. Because of massive cost saving advantages like this, Garacad will be Somalia's least expensive port.

So far 3 phases have been completed. We are on phase 4 which is when they start constructing in the water.
